AgentMailings® began in September of 1997 as RSP–The Real Estate Specialist Program. The company was
founded on a strong need for a consistent, targeted direct marketing program for real estate agents that
effectively addressed homeowners #1 want; information on the price that homes were being sold for in their
neighborhoods.
As a result, Steven L. Snyder, developer and CEO of RSP, dedicated his full-time efforts into the
development of "Neighborhood Reports". Utilizing his MBA in marketing and finance from Indiana University,
computer programming and entrepreneurial skills, along with his extensive background in marketing
(senior manager at RJR USA in Winston-Salem, NC where he played an instrumental role with initiatives
that enabled a 40 year market share decline to turn around), Steve was able to develop a system of
merging numerous fields of real estate data with tax roll information. His programming involved in
this process is so unique, that it was awarded a US patent, something extremely rare for this type
of programming process. Through this powerful data assembly was born RSP’s first Neighborhood Report.
After assembling a management team with varied expertise, and a staff trained to service the needs
of real estate agents that the company served, RSP began to grow.
The Neighborhood Reports were so successful in helping real estate agents and the agencies for
which they were affiliated in gaining extensive market share in the areas receiving these reports,
RSP began to be used and promoted by some of the largest and most prestigious real estate companies
in the United States. RSP grew exponentially for many years.
The Neighborhood Reports were designed to target one of the three key target groups of real
estate agent, Home Sellers. The other two target groups, Home Buyers and an agent’s Sphere
of Influence still needed to be addressed. During the development of reports for Home Buyers
and Sphere of Influence is when RSP became AgentMailings® and made available nationwide.
